# ❓ Fortnite FAQ

#### 🔐 Do I need a paid certificate to install the IPA? Why is my game crashing?

Yes, a **paid certificate** is required. Free or enterprise certificates **do not include the necessary entitlements**, which can lead to crashes or the game not opening at all.

***

#### 🛠 What should I do if I have issues signing the IPA?

We recommend using **ESign**, a reliable signing tool that works well with our IPAs.\

#### 👨‍💻 I have my own Apple Developer account. What entitlements do I need?

To run Fortnite using your own dev account, make sure you enable:

* **Extended Virtual Addressing**
* **Increased Memory Limit**

These are required to avoid crashes and ensure smooth performance.

***

#### 🎮 What FPS should I expect?

* **In the Lobby**: 30 FPS
* **In-Game**: 60 or 120 FPS depending on your screen refresh rate (Hz)

***

#### ⚠️ Can I use the "cahighfps" version?

We do **not recommend** using it. While it gives 60 or 120 FPS in the **lobby**, it is **detected** and can result in a ban. Stick to the standard version for safe use.

***

#### 🆓 Can I use free or enterprise certificates?

No. Free and enterprise certs do **not** have the required entitlements.\
Always use a **paid certificate** to avoid issues and bans.

***

#### 💥 Why does Fortnite crash when I launch it?

Your device may not meet the requirements. Common reasons include:

* Your iPhone or iPad has **less than 4GB RAM**
* You’re **not using a paid certificate**
* Missing required entitlements (see above)

#### 📱 How do I check how much RAM my device has?

We’ve created a full compatibility list showing every device and its RAM:\

#### 🤔 What is RAM?

**RAM (Random Access Memory)** helps your device run apps and games smoothly. It temporarily stores the data your device needs right now.\
**More RAM = Better performance, smoother gameplay, and fewer crashes.**

#### 🔄 Is there a way to update Fortnite without reinstalling everything?

Yes! Instead of reinstalling the entire 15GB:

1. Keep your current version installed
2. Sideload the new version on top of it
3. Only the new required files will be downloaded — this keeps your data and saves time
